AI Humanoids And Hybrids

What is the Next Step in Human Robotics Evolution?

Robotics is moving beyond the factory floor into hospitals, logistics networks, and everyday life — forcing a new tension between automation and human accountability. This session looks ahead to 2050 and the next stage of human–AI evolution, drawing on global use cases where humanoid and hybrid systems are already reshaping industries. Katrin J. Yuan, CEO of Swiss Future Institute and Chair of the AI Future Council, and Dr. André Scholz, Head of AI Innovation and Autonomous Factory at Siemens, explore what embodied AI means for industries at scale — and how enterprises, including SMEs, can build trust while pairing human expertise with autonomous systems to move from experimentation to real operational value.
