As Industry Lead Insurance, Gijsbert is providing insurers and Appian’s customers support in the many ways on how Appian can be beneficial to the Insurance industry.
Gijsbert has over 14 years of experience as an Operations and Change Manager in Insurance at Hiscox and PartnerRe. During this time he built an in-depth knowledge in P&C insurance processes and solutions in Insurance, and worked closely with underwriters, brokers and IT to find product, distribution and processing solutions in Europe.
Before working in insurance, Gijsbert worked for 9 years on several international blue chip projects (at Accenture and KPMG). Professionally, Gijsbert gets enthused by growth and transformation plans, business development, inspiring teams, building bridges between Business and IT and working in international environments.
