Fault Lines and Front Lines - Board leadership in an age of disruption

Geopolitics draws the fault lines, Boards stand on the front lines with specific as well as common challenges. Take a cyber incident: For a listed company it raises a disclosure question, for a state-owned group a public one, for a regulated bank a supervisory matter, and for a health insurer a question of trust. Same event, four boardrooms, four specific challenges but also many common aspects to address such as customer impact. Resilience involves recognising the factors that characterise a specific crisis for a given company.
