Jörg Bertogg is Country Head Commercial Insurance and a member of the Executive Committee for Zurich Switzerland as of August 2026. He is responsible for the strategy and performance of Switzerland’s leading commercial insurance business, driving profitable growth and delivering tailored risk and resilience solutions for customers.
He combines extensive market expertise from several European markets with proven leadership in technology, AI and business transformation. From 2022 to 2026, Jörg served as Global COO for Zurich Commercial Insurance, driving innovation across digital platforms, analytics and customer service.
Jörg holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Berne, Switzerland, and completed the AI for Senior Executives Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States.
